As some of you may recall, last year we challenged ourselves to sell a beautiful 5-bedroom property on Victoria Road, without the use of portals such as Rightmove and we managed to achieve that at the end of 2022! We also promised that we would donate to charity. That's why we are thrilled to announce that we have recently made a donation of £500 to Mind, a leading mental health charity in the United Kingdom. While this donation is not directly linked to the sale of the house last year, we still wanted to follow through on our commitment. In this case, we decided to support the Mind charity and the vital work they do in promoting mental well-being and providing support to those who need it most.

At MECS, we understand the importance of giving back to the community and making a positive impact on society. Mind is a charity that is close to our hearts, as mental health is an issue that affects so many people in our society. According to statistics, 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year, and this highlights the urgent need for support and resources to be made available to those who need it. The mind has been working tirelessly for over 60 years to improve the lives of those affected by mental health problems, and we are proud to contribute to their efforts.

 

The donation of £500 may not seem like a lot, but it is a significant amount that can make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most. The funds will be used to support Mind's various initiatives, such as their helpline, which provides confidential support to people in need, and their online resources, which offer information and advice on a wide range of mental health issues. 🧠

 

 

In addition to our donation, we also plan to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and the work that Mind does. We believe that it is vital to remove the stigma around mental health and encourage open and honest discussions about the issue. By raising awareness and promoting understanding, we can help to create a more inclusive and supportive society for everyone. 👍
